With the most prestigious of Formula 1 races, Wajer has chosen a fitting backdrop to show its flagship to the world, the Wajer 55. Wajer CEO Dries Wajer: “I can’t wait to welcome the drivers and their guests on board. I’m hoping to take everyone out for a hot lap on the 55 and convince them of its performance. Because there’s nothing I can say that a smooth 40-knot ride can’t say better.“ For this exclusive partnership, Wajer deploys a total of six yachts at the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix, including the Wajer 55, 38 and 38 S – all wrapped in the striking Aston Martin Red Bull Racing colours.

Wajer Yachts in the Netherlands has unveiled its latest motoryacht model, the Wajer 55 S. Eighteen months after the release of the flagship Wajer 55, this sportier version is based upon a centre console concept. The new model has the same hull as the Wajer 55, but with a completely different deck layout. This gives the boat an even more dynamic look and room for all kinds of watersport toys. This combination of sportiness, luxury and comfort is why Wajer is calling the new model a Sports Utility Yacht.

Blending almost 25 years of experience with the very latest insights into performance and comfort, the Wajer 55 is the largest powerboat built to date by the renowned Dutch yard Wajer Yachts. This elegant and sophisticated 16-metre beauty builds on the achievements of its award-winning predecessors while adding a range of smart innovations of a type more commonly seen on superyachts.

Wajer Yachts presented the Wajer 38 S in the summer of 2015. The most striking aspect of this boat is the centrally located cockpit under a sturdy hardtop bimini. The principle of having a centre console has freed up a great deal of space on board for comfortable socialising and relaxing, and enhanced freedom of movement for all passengers. The skipper has excellent visibility at all times – but this is also where any comparison with conventional centre consoles ends.

The Wajer 38 motorboat combines a superb performance with relaxed sailing pleasure. “A combination of power, elegance and luxury means that the Wajer 38 offers you a new kind of sailing experience,” Dries Wajer says.
